Jeanne Henck, BHS teacher, born 1924, went home to the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2007. Classmates remember her as a vital part of several school activities: yearbook advisor, sponsor of the National Honor Society, school newspaper, Tri-Hi-Y, cheerleaders, homecoming court, and as director of numerous plays and assemblies for our school.
She lived most of her life in Hiller and her teaching career in Brownsville area junior high and senior high spanned nearly 50 years. She touched countless lives as a teacher, a mentor, a civic leader, a volunteer, and a Christian.
Classmates who remember her are urged to make comments in this blog posting about those good old days with her during your BHS school years. May she rest in peace!
